Women's Fund of Central Ohio - Keyholder Video (1:09)

Women's Fund of Central Ohio is a nonprofit foundation that helps women find funding for innovative ideas. The nonprofit needed a motivating keyholder video for a fundraising event and approached Hotbed to create the video. The Columbus based production company set out to produce a cinematic video by partnering with me to shoot the project. In my initial conversations with director Mike Paulucci, we talked about how he wanted the video to go above and beyond all expectations with next level visuals for the narrative video.

Mike wanted the video to feel real and natural, like a Terrence Malick film, while cinematic as well. We chose to stylistically use smooth camera motion mixed with some handheld. I collaborated with Tim Figueira for SteadiCam to bring this about. The lighting approach was naturalist, yet precise and I strived to create a space on set for the cast to focus on acting. In the end we superseded the client’s brief and delivered an excellent video for the nonprofit organization.
